Larkspur

Larkspur homes have gone up in value tremendously over the past few years, and it has become quite an upscale area to live in. Its downtown counts famous places such as The Left Bank restaurant, Italian patisserie Emporio Rulli’s, and lots of new sophisticated, vegan and organic cafés. It is also home to one of the country’s top public high schools (Redwood High School). Weekends can be spent having lunch at one of the farm-to-table restaurants or shopping at the Marin County Mart. The well-maintained four-mile loop hike in the hills above Larkspur is surrounded by beauty. Larkspur Landing ferries take commuters to the San Francisco Ferry building across the San Francisco Bay in 30 to 50 minutes (depending on vessel type), and offer spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island, Marin hill towns, and magnificent Mount Tamalpais. Larkspur is a great place to live.
